[tech & gadgets] sony cybershot dsc-m2
At one point i was a proud owner of the casio exilim ex-s3 camera. A damn fine digital camera. In fact cnet gave it a 7.2 out of 10 in its review. Anything over 6 on a CNET review is decent in my book. I have a friend who used his s3 series to take spy pictures of random bootys walking the streets of NYC. It's not so much his questionable behavior that sold me on the camera, but the fact that he could conveniently slip it back into his pocket without looking like he was pitching a tent at 3 in the afternoon. Anyhow, I've since managed to damage the LCD on my viewer and have rendered my s3 useless. I miss that little bitch. Honestly, it's been like an ugly breakup. I've been waiting, making sure that I wasn't about to jump into the sack with just any 3 megapixel camera without thinking it through. Alas, I believe I have found my digicam mate in the Sony Cybershot DSC-M2. Unfortunately it's not available in the US as of yet; us Yanks will have to wait till sometime in spring/summer 2006 to get our paws on it. Until then, I suppose I'll just have to fantasize about stroking the DSC-M2's 5.1 megapixel with 2.5 inch hybrid LCD screen, 3x optical zoom with aluminum body and satin metallic finish. If that's not enough to get you excited, here's a more in-depth introduction to this naughty, naughty girl. Or go here for a more arousing 3D view.
