[music] our new orleans : a benefit album for the gulf coast

Record label Nonesuch Records - a subsidiary of Warner Music - recently released "Our New Orleans", a 16-track record that, in addition to being a benefit album for Hurricane victims, is also a tribute to a city that is considered the epicenter of American musical heritage. The album is a classic compilation of N'oleans Soul, Jazz, R&B and is a showcase of what music means to New Orleans and vice versa. All net proceeds from sales will be donated to the local relief efforts of Habitat for Humanity, with a portion set aside to provide housing for local musicians left homeless by the disaster.
