So I've basically taken the entire summer off from blogging - last post was June 30th. You know how you make a comeback? With breaking news like this: I'm going to be a Daddy. Seriously. Wifey is due 1/10/10. So now what? I should be researching for cribs, toys that make lots of annoying noises and breast pumps, right? Nope. This is the first thing that caught my eye as a Daddy to be, whilst Wifey was shopping for maternity threads the other day. Rockabye Baby puts out a line of lullaby renditions of songs by bands such as U2, Green Day, AC/DC and Metallica to name a few. Metallica lullabyes. Who knew? Included are Black Album classics (Enter Sandman, The Unforgiven), early 'Tallica hits (Master of Puppets, One) and at least one puzzling selection: Fade To Black, a song about death from 1984's Ride The Lighting. I'm not so sure Junior and I will be rocking out to that one. At least not until he starts wearing black nail polish and tells me how much he hates me.
