Rocky IV is on TV right now. On of my favorite movies, and undoubtebly one of the best motion picture soundtracks ever. Another nice feature of this flick is the black Lamborghini Jalpa that the Italian Stallion rocks. For people like myself who don't have a keen enough eye for these sort of things, it's easy to mistake the Jalpa for the more popular Lamborghini Diablo and Countach models. But the Diablo was first manufactured in 1990 (5 years after Rocky IV was released) and the Countach had a disctinct design you couldn't possibly mistake with anything else. Introduced in 1981, The Jalpa was actually Lamborghini's most successful V8 line of cars until parent company Chrysler discontinued production in 1988 due to falling sales. Poor Diablo. But at least it had its day in the sun as part of one of the more iconic movies ever produced.
