The Marina Bay Sands Resort in Singapore, while an imposing structure, may not be as impressive as the borderline ridiculous properties you see in places like Dubai (see Burj Al Arab). Tell you what, though: it may take the title of most kick ass swimming pool in the world. Perched 55 stories over the Singapore skyline, the infinti pool at the Marina Bay is both breathtaking and scary as hell at first glance. At three times the length of an Olympic-sized pool, and 650 feet in the sky, it is the largest outdoor pool in the world at that height. But swimming on the edge won't be as risky as it looks. While the pool seems to end in a sheer drop down towards the hustle and bustle of Singapore's streets, the water actually spills into a catchment area where it is pumped back into the pool. Just don't go running around playing "Marco Polo" with your buddies after a few Singapore Slings. Probably not the best idea.
