[food] quaker steak & lube wings
If you ever find yourself in the town of Sharon, Pennsylvania, you must do everything in your power to visit Quaker Steak & Lube at 101 Chestnut Street, the original of the now 20+ franchise locations. Back in 1974, George "Jig" Warren III and Gary "Moe" Meszaros turned an abandoned gas station into a "cook your own steak" restaurant. The concept was so successful that Jig and Moe hired a cook so their customers no longer had to do their own cooking and the menu was expanded to include a variety of foods, including chicken wings which has become "The Lube's" signature dish. Quaker Steak & Lube has since won the title of "Best Wings USA," and has over 100 local, national, and international awards for their wing sauce recipes, which range from the mild Ranch to the you-must-be-out-of-your-freakin'-mind Atomic. So dangerous is the Atomic sauce, the staff asks you to sign a waiver form before you can be served.
