[travel] domaine de hauts de loire
Ever wonder where grown-ups go for vacation? Well, they go to places like the Domaine de Hauts De Loire, an exquisite 4-star 25 room/11 aparment château located in the wine route and Loire castle region of Onzain, France (a 2-hour drive from Paris). The gallery on the property website reveals spacious guestrooms, picturesque surroundings and an overall elegance that only a château in France could deliver. The château also features a on-site restraunt considered "one of the best small hotel restraunts in the world," according to a iwantnow tipster who returned from a recent trip to the Domaine de Hauts De Loire. Be warned though, as the very same tipster notes, "we ended up paying $500 for a lunch [for a party of four] because the slick bastards don't put the prices of their food on the menu they give to the women." Ah the French - they are so very clever, n'est-ce pas?
