Hooray! We finally closed on our house this weekend, after an exhaustive 8-month search. Buying a house means we have to buy a lot of other stuff that you need to put IN the house. And you bet your ass a big screen tv is one of those things. I've had my eye on this Samsung 46" LCD for a few weeks. At $2,200+, I think it may be a bit over-priced since there are plenty of tvs under the $2k range. But with it's subtle red "touch of color" around the outside edges of the screen, there is something aesthetically pleasing about this one. And yes, I am that much of an idiot that I would pay a $1,000 premium for eye candy.
